1 Long Shot, 1 Big Suprise, and 1 Proud Father

When I was 17, my dad decided it would be fun if we took a road trip from upstate NY down to South Carolina for a little hunting trip. This was pretty exciting for me because the deer are still in velvet when gun season opens down there and I had never taken a deer with a gun before. The first two days of our 3 day hunt were fruitless, all I saw was an armadillo.
